Where design meets your story.
Every program has a story. The expertise behind it, the people it serves, the transformation it exists to deliver. This is what it looks like when design tells that story well.
Emotional Intelligence Program for kids

Design Samples
This design focused on creative, visually inviting illustrations and layouts to engage kids attention and support retention. The colors used across the materials were playful yet soft and grounding. The hand-drawn kawaii-style illustrations help to make these adorable Heartland friends relatable and guides children genuinely want to learn from.
This engaging map invites kids into the magical world immediately activating intrigue and introducing the foundational skills of emotional intelligence through different areas of Heartland.
MAP OF EQ WORLD

Little kids learn important coping skills and attachment based interventions through fun activity sheets that feel like play rather than learning. Soft colors and kawaii-style characters invite the play.
ACTIVITY SHEET

Parent resource pages are used as an anchor to translate this magical Heartland world into real-life skill building. The design focuses on making complex concepts feel simple, clear, and approachable.
PARENT RESOURCE

The Parenting Program
IN COLLABORATION WITH THE CENTER FOR CONNECTION
This comprehensive parenting program was a fully original curriculum and design project. The content, materials, and design were all created from scratch for a five-week intensive parenting group, drawing on evidence-based approaches to help parents manage their little ones' big feelings, promote healthy development, and strengthen connection. Color, layout and structure all were designed to invite a sense of calm and reduce overwhelm for busy parents.
The result was a set of high-impact materials parents could reference and return to long after the group ended.
THE DELIVERABLES
The supportive materials were structured to help parents learn, reflect, act, and then track their progress.

Parenting Program
Design Samples
Each weekly module guided parents through learning, reflection, and action. Across five weeks, that translated into a comprehensive, multi-resource program suite with tips, guides, scripts, tools, trackers, and reflective exercises woven throughout. Here is a look inside.
Each workbook section opened with psychoeducation pages designed to engage parents and highlight the most important concepts for that week.

The Online Course Workbook
Resilient rebound
Some program materials don't need a lot of content, it needs space for the work to breathe. This was design for an online course workbook serving survivors of domestic abuse. The focus was on structure and visual pacing, organizing material so it flowed intuitively, felt approachable, and held space for processing.
Since the client arrived with established branding, this project centered entirely on layout, spacing, and visual pacing, allowing the workbook to lead with supportive space.
THE DELIVERABLES
-
16-page reflective workbook designed for digital and print use formatted for an online course environment
-
Slide presentation reformatted to align with existing workbook layout and the client's branding

Online Course Workbook
Design Samples
This design was primarily focused on creating materials that signaled safety and allowed room for processing difficult psychoeducation and personal reflection. This was not content heavy, but still did important work in helping clients through the program with a focus on flow and reducing overwhelm.
Reflection was a core feature of this course workbook. The slide deck did the heavy lifting with the course content, so the focus here was to provide a welcoming space to process heavy experiences.
PERSONAL REFLECTION & PROCESSING

Valuable content delivered with intentional white space and designed to inform without overwhelming the client.
PSYCHOEDUCATION & REFLECTION

Each page paired a case study with personal reflection prompts, giving clients room to connect the material to their own experience without crowding the page.
